Akershus Castle

The medieval Akershus Fortress towers majestically over the Oslo Fjord and tells you exciting stories from Norway's past.
Originally built in the 13th century as a defensive structure, it later served as a royal residence and prison. Today, you can explore the impressive walls, the royal mausoleum and the defense museum - and enjoy a fantastic view of the harbor.
Tickets are only available in the museum store on site. Admission is free with the Oslo Pass.
Holmenkollen

Holmenkollen is a Norwegian landmark and a must for anyone interested in winter sports.
Here you can visit the oldest ski museum in the world and learn all about the history of skiing - from the Stone Age to the present day. A highlight is the futuristic ski jump: from the top you have a breathtaking panoramic view over Oslo and the fjord.

MUNCH Museum

The new Munch Museum in Bjørvika is an architectural highlight and houses the world's largest collection of works by Edvard Munch.
