Oslo Pass: FAQ

The Oslo Pass is a City Card that gives you free entry to museums and attractions, free access to local transport and discounts on tours and leisure activities.

You can buy the Oslo Pass for 24, 48 or 72 hours. There are versions for adults, children and seniors.

Free entry to over 30 attractions, unlimited use of public transport (zones 1-4), discounts on tours, restaurants, cultural offers and more.

The price of the Oslo Pass depends on its validity.

  • 24 hours: NOK 550 (approx. 47,00 EUR)
  • 48 hours: NOK 800 (approx. 68,00 EUR)
  • 72 hours: NOK 945 (approx. 81,00 EUR)

There is a reduced Oslo Pass for children and young people as well as senior citizens aged 67 and over. Students under the age of 30 receive a discount of 20 % on presentation of a valid student ID. The discount is only available when purchasing at one of the sales outlets in Oslo.

Yes, children between the ages of 6 and 17 receive the Oslo Pass at a reduced price.

Yes, transportation to and from Oslo Gardermoen Airport (OSL) on Vy's local trains is included in the pass. The express train Flytoget and the airport buses Flybussen are not included in the Oslo Pass.

The card can be purchased online as a voucher that can be exchanged for a plastic card.

You can get your Oslo Pass at the Oslo Visitor Center, right next to Oslo Central Station (Østbanehallen).

Yes, if you have purchased the Oslo Pass at Tiqets.com, you can cancel it free of charge until 11:59 p.m. on the evening before your visit.

No, you have to collect your ticket at the box office like all other visitors and wait in the queue.

You only need to show your pass at a ticket inspection or when boarding regional buses at the front door. All buses, streetcars, subway trains, ferries and local trains in zones 1-4 are included.

Yes, the public line ferries (e.g. B1-B4) are included in the pass.

No, the CitySightseeing Oslo offers are not included in the Oslo Pass. However, there is a discount on the harbor cruise.

The Oslo Pass can be used during the opening hours of the participating attractions. Some attractions are closed on Mondays or public holidays.

Yes, you can buy the Oslo Pass for several people. You will then receive several vouchers that you can exchange for the corresponding number of Oslo Passes.

No, the Oslo Pass is not personal. However, it can only be used by one person at a time.

Yes, but not within one day. If you have a pass that is valid for several days, you can visit the attraction again the next day.

Yes, in the adjacent zones (up to zone 4V/4N). This means you can also visit places like Lillestrøm or Sandvika.
